me...

Born in Paris, of an Italian mother and a Spanish father, I grew up in Ibiza, Paris, the Swiss Alps and Milan. This multicultural background and early work as an architect and interior designer have a great influence on my creations. My drawings and paintings mix the colours and shapes of nature with the graphic lines of industrial design.

My whole story with brushes and pencils on fabric, specifically on silk, began as a hobby when I was working and studying in Milan in the early 90’s; I was looking for an accessory that was easy to carry around, that could be worn in different ways and that gave me a touch of sophistication when I needed it no matter how I was dressed. During the years, this idea flourished and I started to sell my 3 meters long handpainted silk scarves to friends while still working as an architect in Ibiza.

A dramatic turn came in 2003 when a world iconic fashion designer noticed my handpainted silk scarves and asked me to come and join him in Paris; this is how I moved there and started a 4-year collaboration with late Karl Lagerfeld. Working with him on scarves and dresses has obviously changed my life and taught me a lot. It also pushed me to launch my own brand, opening a store in Paris in 2004. Four years later I gave birth to my boy Luca and had to partially put my activity aside while also settling in Madrid. In 2018 I moved to beautiful and inspiring Valencia, with lots of ideas and projects, and fueled with great energy to fully relaunch my activity as a textile designer, with my own brand and through collaborations with other designers or fashion brands.

Karl Lagerfeld

As wrote previously, nothing would have been the same in my professional life without the encounter with the German master. Needless to say his passing left me in great sadness, but also remembering lots of great moments. I will never thank him enough for his trust, his mentoring and for everything I’ve learned working with him and his team.

Hereafter, three short videos edited a few weeks before his death, showcasing the first collection I worked for back in 2003.

Rest in peace, dear Karl.
